  Details :: Thanks goes to Bruce Jackson for sending us details on Max's Cafe, which is North of the Aldermaston Roundabout, and South of J12 of the M4 near Reading. They are open all day, offer all the usual delights with a very quick service. Lots of parking, but with large potholes, so be careful. They have seating, papers, toilets and a sense of humour.

  Details :: The Gorge is on the Caversham Road, Reading, and is another of Bruce Jackson's favourites. He says to park in the Holiday Inn Pay & Display across the road, and you have to check out the ceiling? Why Bruce??  All the usual stuff, like seating, toilets, papers, and they have a good sense of humour!
